We’ve introduced internal job transfers across the Trust so that staff can ask to move into a like-for-like job with no need for the usual interview and selection procedures.
We recognise that people’s circumstances can change at any time, and we want to support your work/life balance.
Staff have the opportunity to put in a request to move to an identical role in another team. We feel it’s better that our talented staff transfer teams rather than leave us altogether, so that we retain their knowledge and expertise.
We are committed to finding ways to help people achieve their career aspirations, and our internal transfer scheme is just one of the ways we do this.
The Trust values me and the skills I bring to the role.
The staff transfer scheme is open to all employed staff. Requests will be dealt with on a case by case basis. If the existing team is already short of staff individuals may not be eligible to transfer teams.

It is good practice for you to share your intention to transfer with your manager.
You will simply need to complete a transfer form.
It is expected that a transfer should occur within 8 weeks of the request where there is a vacancy to transfer into.
We will retain your request for six months and if one becomes available you will be eligible for transfer.
No, but all requests will be considered. There must be a vacant post for a transfer to occur.
My personal circumstances changed and I needed to leave where I was working. I was able to transfer into the same role in another area of the Trust within a matter of weeks.
