Hello, my name is Madison Shaw I’m an occupational therapist in a low secure forensic, mental health hospital.

Occupational therapists support people to do the things they want or need to do.

I support the individuals I work with to develop their independence in everyday tasks

such as cooking, self-care and developing a healthy routine. Being an occupational

therapist is rewarding in many ways, from working in an inclusive MDT to seeing the

progress in the service users I work with.
